THE FULL STORY
Yoder's start in sound design began with his background as a DJ & music producer for 10+ years. When he arrived at the University of Idaho to pursue theatre, he was introduced to sound design and became very passionate about it. This led to his first design of True West by Sam Shepard. He also began engineering shows like A Child's Christmas in Wales and Little Women the Musical.

“Andrew Yoder’s sound design was atmospheric without being intrusive. It was on full view when the cast broke into spirited dancing in a flying machine interval whenever an airplane taking off from nearby Morris County Airport flew noisily overhead (which occurred about five times during the performance I saw)."
